H&M Festival Collection in online store now

Hi there!

Remember me writing about the Festival collection from H&M? I';ve got good news for those who loved this collection: It's in the online store now! But hurry, because there are already items that are sold out..
I wish I had money so that I could buy my favourites (see below) but unfortunately, Copenhagen got me bankrupt. So I'll have to wait till next month. Oh, I must not forget to show you what I bought!
My favourites:

I also love the maxi dress with zebra print and the sandals, but I can't find those in the online shop. What are your favourites, are you gonna buy anything from this collection?

Topshop High Performance collection

Hello everyone!

Sorry for not updating a while, I was very busy with school, as I have to take Cambridge exams in three weeks. But now let's talk about something else, because Topshop has released another collection, called the High Performance collection. We see a lot of neutral colors, like black, grey, nude and bits of blue. Let's take a look!
LYCRA elastic mule sandals, 68 pounds
Number 36 contrast sleeve tee, 22 pounds
Basic zip back vest, 28 pounds
Bandage elastic bandeau, 25 pounds

Baseball Bomber jacket, 40 pounds
Washed leather holdall bag, 100 pounds

Here are some pictures from the Lookbook. I think the models look kind of depressed, especially the second one, also in combination with the black clothes she's wearing. I don't know if this is deliberately, but I just noticed. Oh, by the way, if you're living in the UK and you've just fallen in love with one of these items (or with other items from Topshop), I have some good news for you: Today there's free shipping on all UK standard orders!

Although I think Topshop has had better collections, I do like the items. But it was not really what I expected with the name 'High Performance'. But still I do have my favourites that I absolutely consider buying: the bandeau dress, the back zip vest and the baseball jacket. What do you think of this collection?

Oh, and people, I am so sorry for the small images, but my computer is so lazy today, it doesn't do what I want it to do, so I hope I can fix this. Excuse me for this!

Fashion resort Copenhagen

Hello everybody!

Are you having a nice holiday? I surely am! I just returned from Copenhagen and it is the loveliest place on earth. Well, one of them then. The city is so beautiful, just like the people. Everybody is so nice and friendly, and so STYLISH. Seriously, I was wondering where all stylish people moved to, I guess I found them. The girls look just amazing, all sophisticated but edgy, and all so beautiful. The guys are also nice, but the difference between Dutch girls and Danish girls is bigger than the difference between the guys. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures of anyone, but trust me, about 70% of the girls look like those on lookbook.

Well, I'll show you some pictures I did take, I hope you enjoy!

This is the Stroget, the largest pedestrian (shopping) zone in Europe. It is filled with the prettiest shops, like Urban Outfitters, Topshop, Message (a store with Danish brands), Monki, and a beautiful warehouse called Illum, which has an elevator made out of glass on the outside of the building, so you have beautiful view every time you use it.

Here are some street musicians, they were really good! Too bad I can't let you hear them.

This is a fountain on a plaza in Copenhagen. There were lots of restaurants and places to sit down and watch everybody walk by, which was very nice as we had beautiful weather.

When you want to visit a city and you'd love to see something different from London or Paris (not that these are not amazing), you should definately drop by, this city is absolutely worth the trip!

Spring's coming

Hi there!

How was your day? Mine was not so special, just another day at school. I can't wait till spring break, still 2 weeks left! And oh, I'm so excited: I'm probably going to Copenhagen! AAAAAAH, I've always wanted to go there, see the mermaid, see the funny and beautiful colored house, meet all stylish people, make LOTS of pictures and do lots of shopping too of course! Another reason that spring break is gonna be great: I'm going to see Third eye blind AND Train! So so so lovely, I love them, and I'm so excited to see them live. But, to keep this an interesting update, here is some photography I did a week ago or something, I thought it would be nice to share it ;)

Oh, and another fact; I really want to visit Pinkpop this year (a huge festival in the Netherlands, with e.g. John Mayer, Greenday, florence + the machine), so I'm trying to fix everything! I'll let you know. Is anyone of you going?

xxxx

P.S. this blogthing makes the quality of these pictures so bad, I'm sorry! Clich on them for a better view.

Today was such a wonderfull day. I caught myself, down by the greenfields making pictures with my mom's camera. Hate that thing. But what so ever, the weather was great. Love the blue sky and the birds singing and blablabla.

Chain reaction

Hello there!

I feel so guilty for not having posted for so long, but I might have something to compensate that, so read on!
Remember the chain tattoos at Chanel spring/summer 2010 ? If not, here are some pictures to refresh your mind.
For every one who loved this as much as I do, but doesn't want to set a tattoo ( it might be cool now, but imagine having a tattoo like that on your leg when you're 60.. no thanks)
I found the solution.
Tights with a chain tattoo print. Aren't they amazing? I love them, and I'll absolutely buy them!
You can buy them at www.missselfridge.com, 8 pounds ($12 or €9)

H&M Festival Collection

H&M has just released the Garden Collection, and now there is already a new collection waiting to be in the stores! This time it is the Festival Collection, a collection full of prints where black and white are mixed with color. And besides that the clothes are wonderful, there's another reason to buy something of this collection, which is that 25% of the profit goes to organizations that fight HIV!
Take a look at the Festival Collection yourself:

My favourites are the belt, the maxi dress and the denim dress and the golden jacket. The collection will be available in May. I can't wait!
